Mr Femi Fadeni is a distinguished business leader with over 20 years of experience in commerce, oil and gas, shipping, logistics, and related sectors. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin and is an alumnus of INSEAD Executive Education Asia.
He currently serves as Deputy Executive Vice Chairman of GMT Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, a leading offshore engineering, procurement, and installation company. In this capacity, he plays a key role in business development, finance, and administration. Mr Femi is also a board member of the Badagry Ship-repair Maintenance Engineering Consortium (BSMEC), which is driving the development of the multi-billion-dollar Nigeria LNG dry dock and repair facility in Badagry.
Between 2019 and 2024, Mr Femi Fadeni served as the Chairman of NAHCO Free Trade Zone Limited (NFZ), the first airport-based free zone company licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to drive the free trade zone initiative of the government at the airports. His leadership style ensured that the Company established new benchmarks in excellence and innovation within the free zone industry. This impactful leadership experience underscores his proven ability to lead organisations toward significant growth and achievement.
